This site is a repository for my art work and my thoughts on a variety of subjects.

Things I strongly recommend—in fact, both are must sees:

The movie "Bidder 70" a documentary about UU Tim DeChristopher currently showing on Netflix.

The amazing Charlie Pierce who writes for Esquire online has a column worth reading (most in fact) that links to an amazing video of Rev. William Barber speaking at Netroots Nation that met in Detroit last summer. I urge you to take an hour of your time and click the link in Charlie's post. Watch the best voice of moral athority out there right now. Rev. Barber is the spirit and leader of the Moral Mondays movement in North Carolina.

Go. Watch. Now.

Also, if you get a chance to watch Citizen Four, DO SO. If you don't know much about what is behind Edward Snowden's story, this film will explain a lot. There's a reason it won the Oscar for best documentary. It is now available on HBO

As for Jon Stewart's retirement from the Daily Show, I can fully understand. We have been watching it since he began in 1999 and sustaining that kind of effort for 16 years is brutal—not to mention his endeavors in the film world with the most excellent Rosewater. See that too if you can. It is currently available on Netflix.
